For Kate Gabbitas, live performance is an expression of the innate human drive to create and connect through sound. Raised surrounded by professional classical musicians who made sure she was recording and performing with her extended family from a young age, Kate’s foundational musicianship runs deep. Her high school years were spent balancing trumpet and vocals across philharmonic orchestras, jazz combos, big bands, and choirs, leading into commercial music studies at BYU and UVU, which looked very much the same. Today, she is a vibrant member of Utah’s live music scene, performing regularly at local jams, venues, corporate events, and weddings, while collaborating with musicians worldwide.

Whether setting an intimate mood as a solo vocalist and pianist, driving a brass section in a big band, tracking in the studio, or contracting a full commercial set up of top-tier local musicians for a private event, Kate brings versatility and professionalism to every stage. Her experience spans original musical ventures, high energy cover performances, and studio work, making her a trusted and dynamic collaborator for venue owners, event planners, and fellow artists alike.
